We have a small team working towards an affordable
solution. Profit is not the motivation for the venture,
in fact we hope to invite as many as we can who share
the vision. However money is needed. We have worked
out a cash and budget plan outlining a 3 phase program.
Share holders will need to pay a monthly levy contribution
towards the running costs of the farm. These costs are
still to be determined depending on activity and participation.
We envisage three growth phases:
- Phase 1: We will consist on buying land and
setting up basic infrastructure services and some
dwellings. Planned to be completed by end 2008.
- Phase 2: We will build more habitations and
the site will be available to visitors and tourists
to stay at low rates. We hope to generate sustainable
income through eco-tourism, we will offer mountain
trails, horse rides, and arts and crafts, etc.
All profit will be re-invested in the farm, and will
serve to help reduce any levy. We are looking at 2009
to introduce this phase.
- Phase 3: It is an expensive phase, and will
consist of the serious building of HAB’s and
stockpiling of resources. These costs are not included,
some details of these costs and what we want to provide
are shown in the Excel spread-sheet.
